- Water type You will be completing the following; seeing what is in the mystery bag, completing a learning federation activity on different water types, doing a quiz on water types, and participating in a class discussion about water types. -Water cycle You will be completing the following; watching a video on the water cycle, having a class discussion about the water cycle, doing a learning federation activity on the stages of the water cycle, and in groups of four, making a short powerpoint presentation on one stage of the water cycle.
- Water pollution You will be completing the following; looking at pictures of different types of water pollution, watching a video on water pollution and what we need to do to stop it, participating in a class discussion, then getting into groups of four and either make a powerpoint or movie in movie maker on a particular type of water pollution, assigned by the teacher. - Water conservation You will be completing the following; watching a video on what water conservation is and ways to conserve water, having a class discussion about the video, then the class will be split into two, the students in group one will be using the internet to find one way (each student finds one idea) to conserve water, and the students in group two will be finding one consequence if we do not conserve water. Finally every student will record their idea and their name onto a talking tin and we will display them on the wall.
